Today someone told me my blog was a bore. Considering I am simply too nice of a person to EVER say that to anyone I was a bit taken back.
I went through a series of thoughts/reactions -
1st - wait.. did he really just say that? He doesn’t even know me! Maybe it was a bad joke?
2nd- He really did say that ew what an a**hole
3rd - Well his blog isn’t that great so THERE
4th - maybe I should tell him off; what right does he have to say that?
5th - Maybe my blog really is a bore.
6th - I should give up writing; who am I kidding? My grammar is always off, my sentences can be hard to comprehend and who knows if I ever make real sense.
7th - I REALLY want to tell this guy off
8th - ok Thais let’s just breatheeeeee here
9th - meh oh well if he doesn’t find my writing exciting. I am not writing to please other people. I am writing because I want an outlet for my thoughts. This blog is for ME. Some may like it and some may not; everyone is entitled to their opinion. By living in integrity and being true to me I am not aiming to make everyone happy – just myself.
Amazing what one conscious breath can do right? Thank youuuu yoga! (And as my Bad Girls of Twitter would say – F**k it!)

If your blog were truly a bore, Teeg, that guy wouldn't have bothered to say anything…He'd have simply gone elsewhere. Reminds me of a misguided little kid who pulls a girl's hair because he doesn't know how else to get her attention. Sad.This is SO not about you, honey. You shine on. xo rupa

I know you have probably heard this already but DON'T EVEN TAKE THAT SERIOUSLY! This kid has too much time on his hands and has nothing productive to say. You are awesome. Don't let anyone take that away for you! Breathe away that negative self-talk!

1) you can only be you, trying to be someone else is tiresome and silly. BE YOU, YOU ROCK!b) F**k him, if he can't realize a gemstone when he finds one, well he's gonna have a rough time on the interwebs!iii) taking the 'higher road' isn't always easy, but it's best. Breathing is the best way to settle down and bring yourself back to the present moment. Kudos to you sunshine!

That is what I don't get about people – if he thinks your blog is boring why is he here? And why stick around long enough to tell you it's boring? And yeah, f'k him. And f'k his boring blog too!But, I get the whole self doubt thing. I struggle with it everyday. Interesting though how easily someone who shouldn't matter can bring it out in us so easily.You write for you – that's what makes your blog so good!

You know what, just forget about him. First off, the fact you have so many of us supporting you and your writing proves that your blog is absolutely NOT a bore. I for one come back to read it everyday. When you're writing, online especially, remind yourself you can't please everyone. I used to have a Xanga, and man people are rough on there. While some people loved my stuff, more still only would comment when they had something really really mean to say. No argument, just calling my posts "epic fails" and calling me an idiot. Some people in the world are just set on bringing others down. Don't let them get to you, because you are an inspiring writer AND person.

What a tool, you write your blog how you choose if some one choose to read it or not then it is cool I for one enjoy your blog, I write my blog for me the fact that a few people read it too is a bonus.

Who would say something like that?! I try to remind myself (if I get negative feedback or none at all) that I'm writing/blogging for ME. Yay if it inspires others or sparks conversations. But really it's about how it makes me feel
