Homemade Salsa

I can be pretty dangerous in the kitchen. And I do not mean that in a deviously whip up deliciously complicated things sort of way. No I mean like watch out I might probably will burn something various times sort of way. But I do like to make things at home because I’ve found homemade foods do not have preservatives, taste fresher and is better for your body. And we all know how important it is to keep our bodies strong!!

So this weekend I was making my typical black bean burgers (another post at a later date) and decided it was going to be a Mexican themed dinner. And what Mexican meal is not complete without some salsa!! So I threw into a blender a can of diced tomatoes (I would have used real tomatoes but I had none at the time), can of corn, some parsley, cilantro, dash of salt and voila! Blend depending on what consistency you are looking for (I like mine chunky!) and there you guys have it!

Seriously, if I can do it then you can too. And it tasted AWESOME.

Namaste.
