This week is absolutely crazy hectic for me. I am going to be hitting the road for a week for my job and this weekend I am taking a deep, well deserving break by spending two days at Blue Cliff Monastery in upstate NY. Two days of walking and sitting meditation, journaling, reading, and being. Maybe a little yoga asana. Ahhhhhh finally a little R&R.
Anyway, as I was formulating ideas of blog posts while I’m on the road, I perused some of my old blog posts and boy I’ve written a lot! So many awesome posts that have been lost in the masses! So I decided everyday this week I would highlight one post from the past, explain where I was coming from when I wrote that blog post, and then share the post with you once more.
I hope you all enjoy this mini trip down memory lane as much as me!
In honor to my mini East coast travels, the first blog post from the past I want to bring to light is titled “Venice, Florence, Rome, oh my!” In the post, I shared a story of my adventures in Italy. At the time that I wrote the post, I was just starting to learn how to juggle my yoga life and my work life. I was longing to be back in London, living the life of a carefree college student. I sank into my day dreams quite often during this period and this particular story really reminded me of just how awesome life is when we live it a little slower.
Go read the post HERE.
Namaste.
