As you may have read from my post yesterday, this week is dedicated to a trip down memory lane, rehashing some blog posts that are close to my heart.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, I want you to go read the post titled “Love Letter”.
The “you” in that letter was inspired by a person I loved deeply that was no longer in my life. I wanted him to know that no matter what went on between us, I still wished him the best. Although that was my inspiration, by the end of the letter I felt that it really could be for just about anyone. Everyone that I meet inspires me to be more open. Every situation is a gift. Breaks and cuts in our hearts are not our weak spots, but rather, it’s the door that allows the light to shine through.
So go read the post HERE.
And Happy Valentine’s Day. As “hallmark” holiday as it may be, let’s celebrate the day of love with as much love as we can muster. Why the hell not?
Namaste.

Amen Sister! Every situation absolutely is a gift – ESPECIALLY the ones that seem painful at the time, as it's not the pain that hurts us but our reaction to it (i.e. more suffering or do we choose to learn and let go?).P.S. I TOTALLY did the same thing when I lost connection with someone – wrote them a thank you for simply being a part of my life when they did.
